Is the NEET required for an MBBS abroad?

Starting from 2023, the Indian government has made it compulsory for students to clear the NEET exam if they wish to pursue MBBS studies overseas. This means that Indian students who want to study MBBS abroad will need to take and pass the NEET exam in order to be eligible for admission. If you are an Indian student who is planning to study MBBS abroad, it is important to check with the university that you are applying to to see if they require the NEET exam.

If you want to practice in India after 6 years so NEET is compolsury but if you wanna settle in abroad the NEET is not required, you can apply without NEET as well.

Here is a list of some countries where Indian students can study MBBS without NEET as well:

  • Russia
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Uzbekistan
  • Georgia
  • Philippines

It is important to do your own research to find a country and university that is right for you.
