Choosing the best country to study medicine abroad depends on various factors, including your individual priorities and needs. Both Georgia and Ukraine offer excellent medical education opportunities, but they have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. According to me Georgia is more popular than Ukraine now. One of the reason is very clear that due to war situation Ukraine is no more providing facilities as they provided before but if we keep side this point there are amny point that proof Georgia is better than Ukraine.
Ukraine

- Universities are cheaper than Georgia, with average tuition fees ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 per year.
- Cost of living is not higher than Georgia, with average monthly expenses starting from $500.
- Degrees from Ukrainian medical universities are also recognized worldwide and qualify graduates to practice in the US, UK, and other countries after passing relevant licensing exams.
Disadvantages :
- Safety concerns have increased due to the ongoing war. While some universities have relocated to safer areas, the situation remains uncertain.
- Many teachers don’t know English, sometimes they start teaching in Russian.
- Locals person here don’t know English at all so communication is VERY hard.
Georgia
Advantages
- Recognized by WHO and UNESCO, with medical universities offering modern facilities and internationally qualified professors.
- All medical universities offer English-language programs and teachers speaks only English.
- Generally considered a safe country with a low crime rate.
- Local person are very friendly and knows English so no communication problem.
Disadvantages:
- The only disadvantage is Georgian universities are bit expensive as compare to Ukraine, which is worth. The total cost of entire six years course would be around 35 lakhs.
Other factors to consider:
- Climate: Georgia has a Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters, while Ukraine has a continental climate with cold winters and hot summers.
